Abstract

Abstract - Nursing care is an effort to assist individuals, both sick and healthy, from birth to death, using knowledge, willingness, and abilities. Strategies to reduce or mitigate the workload and stress experienced by nurses in order to improve and achieve the quality of nursing care include adopting a professional nursing practice model, which encompasses several models of professional nursing care, one of which is the professional nursing team method.This study was conducted to determine the relationship between the application of the professional nursing team method and the workload and stress experienced by nurses in inpatient wards.This type of research is correlational, analyzing the relationship between variables. Researchers can identify, explain, predict, and test relationships based on existing theory. This study was cross-sectional, emphasizing a single measurement or observation of independent and dependent variable data. The Spearman's Rho test was used on 58 nurses working in inpatient wards from August 11-16, 2025, to test the correlation.This study obtained a p value of 0.001, less than α=0.05. This is evidenced by the fact that most nurses rated the implementation of the TIM professional nursing care method favorably.The results of this study concluded that there is a relationship between workload and job stress, and the implementation of the TIM professional nursing care method.
