Abstract

ABSTRACT Febrile Convulsion is seizure attack that occurs at temperatures above 38̊ C, which occurs in children aged 6 months to 5 years, the most causes because respiratory tract infections, digestive tract, and urinary tract. Cases that occurred in Nusa Medika Primary Clinic Gempolkrep were 250 children in 2023. This research method used quasi-experimental design with a one group pretest-posttest design, the sample of this study with 30 respondents. The data collection is done by questionnaire. Statistical test used by Uji T-Test with the help of SPSS. The result of the study using Uji T-Test analysis showed the effect of health education in knowledge and attitudes (p = 0,000). There is the effect of health education on parents' knowledge and attitudes in providing first aid for Febrile Convulsion. Good parental knowledge about Febrile Convulsion will increase accuracy in first aid measures. The need for increased knowledge about the treatment of Febrile Convulsion for parents who have children 6 months to 5 years, in order to be able to provide first aid measures for safe and correct Febrile Convulsion Keywords: Health Education, Relief Measures, Febrile Convulsion
