Abstract

Dyslexic events are not far from parenting patterns, where parents are very influential on the growth of children. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of parenting parents with dyslexia in elementary school students. This type of research is correlational analytics. The population of 42 people with a sample of 21 people. The sampling technique is Simple Random Sampling. Data analysis using Fisher Exact Test. Result of research that most parents have authoritarian parenting as many as 15 respondents (71,4%) and most of student of class 1 is not visited by dyslexia that is 11 respondents (52,4%). Based on Fisher Exact Test result with significance level α = 0,05 obtained result Ï = 0,012, then H1 accept, so there is relationship of parenting pattern of parent with dyslexia at elementary school student. Parenting parenting is very deliberate in learning in children. Therefore, appropriate parenting can have a good effect on children, especially in improving motivation to learn.
