Abstract

ABSTRACT Breast milk (ASI) is the best food and cannot be replaced by anything for the baby's growth and development, it can also support the baby's health optimally, according to the 2019 Indonesian demographic and health survey. Breast milk (Mother'sMilk) is an invaluable source of nutrition for newborn baby. (Ministry of Health, 2020) The population in this study was all mothers giving birth in January 2024 which had an influence on the mother's willingness to provide breast milk for her baby with a total of 40 respondents. There were 39 samples from the research. The type of research used is analytical research using the cross sectional method. The instruments used in data collection were interviews and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used was multiple linear regression testing using the SPSS program. This research shows that the influence factor of knowledge with a significant value of 0.069 is greater than 0.05, anxiety with a significant value of 0.078 is greater than 0.05, and pain with a significant value of 0.000 is smaller than 0.05. And it was concluded that from these three factors the most influential was pain, with the prevalence of respondents getting data that the majority experienced moderate pain, namely 29 respondents (74%), a small number experienced mild pain, namely 7 respondents (18%). A small percentage experienced severe pain, namely 3 respondents (8%). And in the results of SPSS calculations using the multiple linear regression test, there is a causal influence that influences the mother's willingness to provide breast milkpost caesarean section at Sahabat Hospital, Pasuruan Regency, a significant value of 0.000, which is smaller than 0.05. Seeing the results of this research, there is a need for education and monitoring by the medical team for post-sc mothers so that they have and know their willingness to provide breast milk after post-sc.
