Abstract
Abstract - Active elderly in elderly posyandu activities depend on the motivation of the elderly to check their health. The problems faced by the elderly, so that the elderly need serious attention through family support to increase the motivation of the elderly to visit the posyandu. The purpose of the study was to analyze the motivation and family support with the activeness of the elderly in attending the elderly posyandu in Kedungsari Village, the Working Area of the Kedungsari Health Center UPTD, Mojokerto Regency. The type of correlational analytical research with a cross-sectional approach. The research sample was some of the elderly who attended the elderly posyandu in Kedungsari Village, the Working Area of the Kedungsari Health Center UPTD, Mojokerto Regency, as many as 103 elderly who were obtained by proportional sampling. The instruments in this study were motivation questionnaires, family support questionnaires, and posyandu visit data register books. Data analysis used the Spearman rho test. The results of the study showed that the motivation of respondents to attend the elderly posyandu in Kedungsari Village, the Working Area of the Kedungsari Health Center UPTD, Mojokerto Regency was moderate, as many as 76 respondents (73.8%). The results of the family support study obtained results with a supportive category of 58 respondents (56.3%). The results of the study on the activeness of the elderly in attending the elderly posyandu showed that most of the elderly were not active in attending the elderly posyandu as many as 67 respondents (65%). Based on the results of the study, it is known that out of 103 respondents, 26 of them have low motivation with the level of activeness of visiting the elderly posyandu being inactive as many as 20 respondents (76.9%). Based on the results of the study, it is known that out of 103 respondents, 45 of them have family support that is not supportive with the level of activeness of visiting the elderly posyandu being inactive as many as 31 respondents (68.9%). The results of the statistical test using the spearman rho test obtained a p-value of 0.000 <0.05, which means that there is a relationship between motivation and the activeness of the elderly in attending the elderly posyandu and means that there is a relationship between family support and the activeness of the elderly in attending the elderly posyandu.The activeness of the elderly in participating in the elderly posyandu is due to the motivation possessed by the elderly that the activity is very much needed, as well as the support from the family to participate in the posyandu activities.
