Abstract
Abstract - Type 2 Diabetes mellitus was a chronic disease characterized by increased blood sugar levels in the body due to insulin resistance or inadequate insulin production. This condition affects the way the body uses sugar (glucose) as an energy source. Prolanis activities are one effort to lower blood sugar levels. This study aims to determine the relationship between compliance with chronic disease management program exercise and random blood sugar levels in Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus patients at the Cita Mulia Mojokerto outpatient clinic. The research approach used was observational analytic with a cross-sectional study design. The sample used was 30 people, and the sampling technique was Accidental Sampling. Data analysis used univariate and bivariate analysis using the Spearman rank test. The results showed that almost half of the respondents were in the category of compliant with Prolanis exercise with a good glucose level (43.3%). The next result showed that almost half of the respondents had a good random blood sugar level examination category(46.7%). The results of statistical tests show a relationship between compliance with exercise programs for managing chronic diseases and random blood sugar levels in patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (p = 0.000), Physical activity is one of the factors that affect blood glucose levels. Physical activity causes insulin to increase so that blood sugar levels will decrease. Health services must provide motivational support to the community to participate in preventive activities such as exercise to further inkecrease community awareness of the importance of always participating in Diabetes Mellitus control activities.
