Abstract

Abstract - Impaired visual function will reduce the level of work productivity. To increase optimal work productivity. According to the results of a survey conducted by (RAAB) the number of blind people in East Java Province was 371,599 people. Meanwhile, in Pasuruan City in 2021 there were 880 people recorded and there was an increase in 2022 to 1,173 people, of which 999 people were new cases. The 4 aim of this research is to determine the risk factors that influence visual impairment in employees at the Pasuruan City Health Service in 2024 This study is a quantitative type, with an observational analysis method with a cross-sectional design. The sampling method was Proportional Simple Random Sampling totaling 89 respondents. Data collection was carried out by filling in a checklist filled in by the respondent and a vision measurement observation sheet. The data obtained were analyzed using statistical tests with Chisquare with (α) 0.05. The results of the Chisquare test show that age > 40 years has an effect on reducing vision, p value 0.000< α 0.05. Not doing stretching activities has an effect on reducing vision, p value 0.038< α 0.05. Keywords: Factors, Risk, Disorders, Visual, cross-sectional
