Abstract
Abstract: Hypertension is a prevalent health issue that significantly impacts patients' quality of life. The efficacy of self-management in hypertensive patients is crucial for effective disease control. This study focuses on enhancing self-efficacy through health education, aiming to empower patients in managing their condition effectively. The theoretical framework is grounded in the principles of self-efficacy, which suggest that informed patients are more likely to engage in health- promoting behaviors. The research employed a quantitative approach, utilizing pre- and post- intervention assessments to evaluate the impact of health education on patients' self- efficacy. The study involved identifying baseline self-efficacy levels before the educational intervention and measuring changes afterward. Specific objectives included assessing the initial self-efficacy of hypertensive patients and evaluating the effectiveness of the educational program in improving their self-management skills. The findings indicated a significant improvement in the self- efficacy levels of patients following the health education intervention. The data showed that patients who received education demonstrated a higher understanding of their condition and were more proactive in managing their health. This suggests that structured educational programs can effectively enhance patients' confidence in managing hypertension. The study concludes that health education plays a vital role in improving self- efficacy among hypertensive patients. By equipping patients with knowledge and skills, healthcare providers can foster better self- management practices, ultimately leading to improved health outcomes. The research underscores the importance of continuous education and support for patients with hypertension to enhance their self-efficacy and overall health management Keywords: Health education, Self-efficacy, Hypertension
