Abstract

ABSTRACT Breast milk (ASI) contains all the nutritional elements needed by babies for perfect growth and development. There are various factors that influence the production of breast milk in postpartum mothers, so efforts are needed to increase breast milk production, by providing hypnobreastfeedig. The purpose of the study was determine the effect hypnobreastfeeding on breast milk production in postpartum mothers at UOBF Working Area of the Rejoso Health Center, Pasuruan Regency. The research design was a pre-experiment one group pretest-posttest. The population in this study was 45 respondents. The sample in this study consisted of 40 respondents, taken using techniques accidental sam pling. The instrument used was a breast milk production observation sheet to measure the adequacy of breast milk production. Statistical test using wilcoxon sign rank test. The results of the study showed that breast milk production before hypnobreastfeeding was inadequate. Meanwhile, breast milk production after given hypnobreastfeeding was mostly sufficient. Statistical test results s value significancy (p) 0.000 which means there is an influence of hypnobreastfeeding on breast milk production in postpartum mothers at UOBF Working Area of Rejoso Health Center, Pasuruan Regency. Based on the results of this research, it is recommended that postpartum mothers are able to do so hypnobreastfeeding independently at home. Health workers are advised to provide education and teach methods hypnobreastfeeding so that mothers can do it independently at home.
