Abstract

Abstrack - Tuberculosis (TB) is an infectious disease that remains a global and national public health problem, including in Mojokerto district. This study aimed to spatially analyze risk factors for TB incidence in Mojokerto district in 2024. This study used quantitative methods, with a cross sectional design. The population included all administrative areas in Mojokerto district, with a sample of 18 sub-districts. Instruments used secondary data recapitulation sheets. Data analysis using the QGis for mapping the distribution of cases and GeoDa application for linear regression testing. The results showed that TB cases almost entirely occurred at the age of 15-64 years (89.48%), had a history of close contact (100%), very high population density (100%) and a small proportion of TB-DM (11,45%), TB-HIV (1,55%). The results of bivariate analysis showed that age, DM, HIV, history of close contact, and population density had a significant effect on the incidence of TB (p-value < 0,05). Tuberculosis is influenced by multiple risk factors, namely age, DM, HIV, close contact history and population density. Health workers are expected to carry out a comprehensive strategy with collaboration between the health, housing and community sectors to reduce the incidence of TB in a sustainable manner.
