Abstract
Abstract - Self-efficacy is a person's belief in their ability to perform actions to achieve specific outcomes and is influenced by educational factors. One educational method used is door-to-door visits to the elderly. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of door-to-door visits to the elderly's health post (Posyandu) on self-efficacy regarding the elderly's health post (Posyandu) in Wonokusumo Semampir, Surabaya. This type of research ispre experiment with the approachone group pretest - posttes with sampling techniquesConsecutive Sampling with a sample size of 30 respondents. This study was conducted in August 2025. The data collection instrument used a self-efficacy questionnaire for the elderly before and after receiving a health education intervention through knocking on elderly doors. Data analysis used a t-test.Wilcoxon. The results showed that the mean self-efficacy score for the elderly before receiving health education at the integrated health post (Posyandu) through door-to-door visits was 30.2, indicating medium self-efficacy. After receiving health education at the integrated health post, the mean score was 58.5, indicating high self-efficacy. Based on the results of the Wilcoxon test, it shows that there were 0 respondents whose self-efficacy decreased and as many as 30 respondents whose self-efficacy increased with a Sig value.tailed p value = 0.000 (<0.05) which means there is a difference in the pretest and posttest results so it is concluded that there is an influence of posyandu health education through knocking on the elderly's door on the elderly's self-efficacy. According to researchers, low self-efficacy in the elderly is influenced by their limited exposure to information about integrated health posts. Therefore, home visits through door to-door programs are an appropriate solution. Keywords: self-efficacy, elderly, knocking on elderly doors, integrated health
