Abstract

ABSTRACT Mental health ranks second only to infectious diseases. While mental disorders are very dangerous, even though they don't directly cause death, relapses can cause profound suffering for the individual and a heavy burden on the family. The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of family support and community commitment on the relapse rate of mental health patients at the Kanigaran Community Health Center in Probolinggo City. Study analytic observational, design study cross-sectional. Place : work area Community Health Center Kanigaran, Probolinggo City . Population is all over ODGJ patients in the work area Kanigaran Community Health Center, Probolinggo City a total of 152 people. variables independent is support family and stigma. Variables dependent is recurrence. Analysis with involving mediator variables are carried out with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). There is an influence of family support on the emergence of relapse in symptoms of poor/untidy self-appearance F count = 8.116 P value = 0.005, there is an influence of family support on the emergence of relapse in symptoms of self care disorders p = 0.002. There is no influence of family support on the emergence of relapse in symptoms of speech pattern disorders p = 0.104. There is an influence of community stigma on patient stress p = 0.032, stress is not a mediating variable between stigma and the emergence of relapse symptoms in ODGJ patients at the UPTD Kanigaran Health Center, Probolinggo City. Family more understand method give support emotional informational, instrumental, and more optimal assessment of patients In addition, the health center can also expand Work The same cross sector.
