Abstract

ABSTRACT Stroke Infarc is illness which causing mean most disability. When stroke attack happen, patient will get distraction of some extremity or parese. One effort can do to take unobedient bedrest is by giving nurse education about the important of bedrest to their cure. Purpose this research is to knowing is there any influence of nurse education to obedient bedrest of stroke infarct patient in Tulip room Sidoarjo Hospital. This researche design is Pra-experimental by using one group pre-post test design. Sampling technic using simple random sampling with amount of sample 30 patient of stroke infarc in Tulip room Sidoarjo Hospital. Measuring tool using kuotioner MMAS-8 who did to patient of stroke infarc and their family in tulip room Sidoarjo Hospital.The Result showed that there was a difference in score of Bedrest Obedient between before and after the intervention was given to the experimental group. Based on the calculation of the statistical Wilcoxon test, a significan value in the experimental group (pre – post test), found that value Asymp.Sig (2-tailed) amount 0.000 < 0,05 or Ha accepted. Which mean there were a significant difference in pre-post test after nurse education is given. Conclution : This shows that there is an effect of Nurse Education on Bedrest Obedient for patient of Stroke Infarc in Tulip Room Sidoarjo Hospital. Thus, it recommended for Hospital to their health staff to giving education to patient of stroke Infarc about things to do as long as their in hospital caring especially bedrest.
