Abstract
Abstract – Active motor recovery in post sectio cesarean patients using the ERACS method is an important goal that patients should achieve, starting from 2 hours post-operation up to 6 hours post operation, where patients can resume activities independently as before. Providing passive mobilization within 30 minutes post operation in sectio cesarean patients using the ERACS method aims to maintain body function, facilitate blood circulation, maintain muscle tone, with the hope that patients can return to normal activities without assistance to meet their daily movement needs. However, in the initial survey, the majority of post sectio cesarean patients using the ERACS method at 2 and 6 hours post operation still couldn't independently perform activities. The aim of this study is to determine the effect of Passive Mobilization on Active Motor Recovery in post sestio cesarean patients using the ERACS method at Melati Husada Malang Hospital. This research is a quantitative study with a Quasi Experimental Design of the Intact Group Comparison type. The population of this study is all primigravida patients who receive sectio cesarean sugery using the ERACS method. The sampling method used in this study is purposive sampling with a total sample of 40 respondents divided into 2 groups: a control group of 20 people and a treatment group of 20 people. The research instrument tool used is observation of active motor recovery based on the physical mobility scale. Data analysis technique used is the Mann Whitney statistical test. The results of the study indicate that the majority of respondents (65%) in the treatment group experienced rapid active motor recovery at 2 hours post sectio secarean and almost all respondents (85%) at 6 hours post sectio cesarean. And a small portion of respondents (10%) in the control group experienced rapid active motor recovery at 2 hours post sectio cesarean and at 6 hours post sectio cesaren, only about half of the respondents (30%). Data analysis results at 2 hours post sectio cesarean show a value of ρ=0.000 and at 6 hours post sectio cesarean show a value of ρ=0.001. This means that there is an effect of passive mobilization on active motor recovery in post sectio cesarean surgery using the ERACS method. So, when post sectio cesarean patients using the ERACS method finish surgery, nurses can give passive mobilization to help improve blood circulation and peripheral circulation, to support optimal body function, and improve body metabolism and vital organ physiology that affect recovery.
