Abstract

Abstract cesarean section is a labor and delivery procedure in which the fetus is delivered through an incision in the patient's abdominal wall and uterus. Research has found that early mobilization has an impact on cesarean section wound healing. ERACS (Enhanced Recovery After Cesarean Surgery) is an adaptation of the Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) protocol specifically implemented to accelerate patient recovery after a cesarean section. This study is a quantitative, observational, analytical study with a cross sectional design. A population of 95 respondents was recruited using random sampling. This study was conducted from January 2 to January 31, 2026, at Mawaddah Medika Ngoro Hospital, Mojokerto. Data were collected from medical records and mobilization observations, then analyzed using SPSS. The results showed that 28 (29.5%) patients used the ERACS method and 67 (70.5%) patients did not use the ERACS method. 41 (29.5%) had good mobilization results, while 67 (70.5%) had poor mobilization results. Based on the Menn-Whitney test, the asymp. sig. was 0.000, indicating a difference in mobilization between the ERACS and non-ERACS methods. The study showed that patient mobilization using the ERACS method was significantly better than that of the non-ERACS method, with data analysis demonstrating a significant difference. The ERACS method has been shown to be effective in accelerating mobilization, reducing postoperative pain, and improving patient satisfaction. Keywords: Cesarean section, ERACS, non-ERACS, mobilization
