Abstract

Abstract Indonesia is still facing major nutritional problems such as wasting and stunting in children under five which can cause a lost generation or the loss of a quality generation. The government has implemented a PMT (Supplemental Food Provision) program made from local food to improve nutritional problems in toddlers. The aim of this research is to see the relationship between compliance with consumption of PMT made from local food and changes in the nutritional status of toddlers. This research is methods with an analytical observational research type that uses an ex post facto research design. Sampling was taken using the Proportioned random sampling technique with a total of 43 respondents. The data collection technique used an interview guide sheet, an observation sheet on changes in nutritional status in the form of weight data before and after the PMT program took place, as well as documentation which was carried out in December January 2025. The results of the research after interviews with mothers of toddlers showed that the majority of respondents were compliant in consuming PMT made from local food, 25 (58.2%) respondents. There was also an increase in nutritional status before and after giving PMT made from local food for 25 (58.2%) respondents. Based on calculations using the Chi-Square statistical test, the p value was 0.001 (P<0.05), so H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted, which means there is a significant relationship between Compliance with Consuming PMT Made from Local Food and Changes in the Nutritional Status of Toddlers. So it can be concluded that compliance has a significant relationship with changes in nutritional status. The higher the level of compliance with PMT made from local food consumption for toddlers, the greater the change in nutritional status. Keywords: PMT Consumption Compliance, Changes in Nutritional Status, Supplementary Food Program (PMT) made from local food.
