Abstract

Abstract - Mothers' lack of knowledge about immunization completeness and fear of misperceptions from the community about immunization are factors that cause mothers to be non-compliant with immunizations. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between maternal knowledge levels and compliance with basic immunizations for 12-month-old children at the Village Polindes (Polindes) in Pakis Village, Trowulan District, Mojokerto Regency. This study used a correlational analytic design with a cross-sectional approach. The study population consisted of all mothers with 12-month-old children at the Village Polindes in Pakis Village, Trowulan District, Mojokerto Regency, totaling 53 mothers of toddlers in August 2025. A simple random sampling technique was used for 47 respondents. Data were collected using questionnaires and observational health card (KMS) observations and tested using the chi-square test. The results showed that respondents with insufficient knowledge about immunization were almost entirely non-compliant with providing complete basic immunizations to toddlers (88.9%). Respondents with sufficient knowledge were mostly compliant with providing complete basic immunizations to toddlers (18 respondents (72%). Almost all respondents (84.6%) had good knowledge of immunizations for their toddlers. The chi-square test showed a p-value of 0.001 < α = 0.05, thus accepting H1 and rejecting H0. This suggests a relationship between immunization knowledge and compliance with complete basic immunizations in Pakis Village, Trowulan, Mojokerto. Mothers' knowledge of the importance of immunization for their children is a crucial factor influencing their compliance with immunizations. Keywords : Level Of Knowledge, Compliance, Immunization
