Abstract

ABSTRACT Electronic Medical Records are the application of information technology devices in collecting, processing and accessing information contained in patient medical records in health care settings in a database management system that collects various sources of patient data. The aim of this research is to determine factors related to perceptions of the use of RME in nursing services at RSU Al Islam H.M Mawardi Krian Sidoarjo in 2024,This research uses a quantitative type of research using Observational Analytical research. This research design is correlational with a Cross Sectional approach at RSU Al Islam H.M Mawardi Krian Sidoarjo in the period February to March 2024.The data collection method used primary data (questionnaire). The sampling technique used the Accidental Sampling technique and a population of 50 nurses was obtained who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data were analyzed using Chisquare and Spearman's Rang tests.The results of the study showed that there was a good relationship with perceptions of the use of RME in nursing services, namely (58%.) 29 nurses out of a total of 50 nurses, and from the factors of age, education, length of service and training there was also a relationship with perceptions of the use of RME in nursing services. nursing services at RSU Al Islam H.M Mawardi Krian Sidoarjo, Conclusion: In this study, the factors related to the perception of the use of RME in nursing services at RSU Al Islam H.M Mawardi Krian Sidoarjo are the factors of age, education, length of service and training. Meanwhile, gender has no relationship with the perception of the use of RME in nursing services. Keywords: Perception, Nurses, Electronic Medical Records, Technology.
