Abstract
ABSTRAK - Pain during childbirth has long been the subject of conversation for women. Therefore, many young mothers-to-be face the birth of their children with fear and anxiety. Several studies have shown that women who experience anxiety during pregnancy are more likely to experience abnormal labor. This type of research is descriptive correlation research design. This research will be conducted at the Wates Husada Hospital of Balongpanggang Gresik City. The time of the research was carried out from februari 2024 to maret 2024. The population in this study was 36 responden. By using sampling purposive sampling technique. With a sample of 36 responden. The data were collected using the Amsterdam Preoperative Anxiety Information Scale ( APAIS ) and Numeric Rating Scale ( NRS ) questionnaires. The statistical test used was Chi Square. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between pre-operative anxiety level and pain degree in post-sectio caesarea patients at the Wates Husada Hospital Balongpanggang Gresik. After using the Chi Square test, the p value = 0.000 ( < 0.05 ) is obtained, so Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. So it can be concluded that there is a relationship between the level of pre-operative anxiety and the degree of pain in Post Sectio Caesarea patients at the Wates Hsada Balongpanggang Gresik Hospital. Conclusion based on the findings the higher the level of anxiety experienced by pre operative patiens the higher the pain intensity experienced by post operative patiens.it is recommended that the research be applied in real activities in the field, especially in relation to the level of pre-operative anxiety and the degree of pain in post-caesarean patients.
