Abstract

ABSTRACT THE INFLUENCE OF EDUCATIONAL VIDEO MEDIA ON INCREASING KNOWLEDGE AND ATTITUDE OF HEALTH HISTORY SCREENING FOR JKN PARTICIPANTS IN THE WORKING AREA OF BPJS HEALTH, IN PROBOLINGGO REGENCY Health history screening is a promotive and preventive effort in the JKN program to detect the risk of participant disease. Video is one of the health promotion media. This study aims to determine the effect of educational video media on increasing knowledge and attitude of health history screening in JKN participants in the work area of BPJS Kesehatan, Probolinggo Regency Office. The research design is a quantitative study using a pre-experimental method with a one group pretest-posttest design. The sample size is 72 respondents, using a simple random sampling technique. The research instrument uses a questionnaire, univariate data analysis uses percentages and bivariate analysis uses the Wilcoxon matched pairs test. There is an increase in knowledge and attitudes that become more positive after respondents are given educational video media intervention. The results of the Wilcoxon matched pairs test analysis for the knowledge variable obtained a p-value of 0.000 (p <0.05) and the attitude variable obtained a p-value of 0.000 (p <0.05). It can be concluded that educational video media influence on increasing knowledge and attitudes about health history screening in JKN participants in the BPJS Kesehatan work area of Probolinggo Regency. Through the results of this study, it is hoped that it can provide an overview and alternative media in health promotion to increase the knowledge of JKN participants, so that the health history screening program can be optimally utilized by participants.
