Abstract

Abstrac:Every Hospital has a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for the Early Warning System (EWS) that must be adhered to in order to improve hospital services. It is expected that with the implementation of the EWS SOP in hospitals, nursing care can be provided effectively because compliance with the Early Warning System filling is crucial.This research method is a pre-experimental method with a One Group Pre-Post Test Design. The participants were 35 attending nurses in the inpatient wards on the 1st and 2nd floors. The sample in this study consisted of some attending nurses. The research instrument was EWS socialization and compliance with EWS filling.The results of this study indicate a significant relationship between socialization and compliance with EWS (Early Warning System) filling at Al Islam H.M. Mawardi Hospital. The probability value is 0.000, which is smaller than the alpha value (0.05), and the t-value (7.319) is greater than the t-table (1.966), indicating that there is a significant influence of the socialization variable on compliance with EWS filling.This suggests that efforts to improve socialization related to EWS can be an effective strategy in increasing medical staff compliance with the procedure. Someone who has been socialized with positive values related to compliance with rules or procedures tends to be more obedient in filling out the EWS. The theory of compliance can be used to explain how socialization can influence individual compliance levels. Strong socialization can increase motivation to consistently fill out the EWS according to the established procedure. Keywords: Early warning system, compliance, socialization.
