Abstract

Abstract : Low visits to antenatal care can increase maternal and neonatal complications, which will lead to increased maternal and child mortality due to high-risk pregnancies that are not immediately treated. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors associated with antenatal care (ANC) visits at the UPTD Jatirejo Health Center, Mojokerto Regency.The study was an analytical observational study with a cross-sectional approach. The sample in the study of pregnant women at the UPTD Jatirejo Health Center was 31 respondents with an accidental sampling technique. Primary data was taken through a questionnaire on knowledge, attitudes and family support. Data analysis using the Spearman rho test for research variables with ANC visits and the chi-square test for attitude and family support variables with ANC visits.There is a relationship between knowledge, attitudes and family support with Antenatal Care (ANC) visits at the UPTD Jatirejo Health Center, Mojokerto Regency with a p-value of knowledge = 0.006. p-value of attitude = 0.006 and p-value of family support = 0.001.Factors related to antenatal care visit practices are knowledge, attitude and family support. Good support from the husband as a family can help improve knowledge, motivation, psychological response of mothers in accessing Antenatal Care services. Health workers, especially midwives, can improve promotion and education programs for pregnant women regarding the importance of compliance in conducting antenatal care visits so that they can improve knowledge and positive attitudes and encourage families to provide positive support to mothers.
