Abstract

Abstract- A healthy diet is an important factor in maintaining nutritional status and health, especially for students in their late teens to early adulthood. However, many students still have unhealthy eating habits. This study aims to determine the description of knowledge and attitudes of STIKES Majapahit Mojokerto students towards healthy eating patterns. This study uses quantitative descriptive. The study population was 150 regular students of STIKES Majapahit. A sample of 110 respondents used a simple random sampling technique. The research instrument was a questionnaire. Data analysis was carried out descriptively with frequency and percentage distribution. The results of the study almost all respondents had good knowledge (80.9%). The attitudes of students were mostly in the positive category (57.3%). This good knowledge is supported by health education, access to nutritional information, and awareness of the importance of maintaining good health. Positive attitudes emerge from family support, the availability of healthy food at home, and the motivation to maintain good health to support academic activities. Students at Majapahit Health College, Mojokerto, have good knowledge of healthy eating patterns, but attitudes are still influenced by environmental factors such as housing. Therefore, ongoing nutrition education efforts and the provision of a healthy cafeteria on campus are needed to support students, especially those living in boarding houses, in developing healthy eating behaviors.
