Abstract

Abstract - Since the decline in COVID-19 cases, PPKM has officially been revoked, but to break the chain of transmission of COVID-19, preventive measures must be prioritized, one of which is using masks. Using a mask can protect yourself and others from transmitting and contracting the COVID-19 virus. The aim of the research is to determine the relationship between knowledge and attitudes and the use of masks after the revocation of Community Activities (PPKM) at RSUD Dr. Soegiri Lamongan. This type of research is quantitative research with a cross-sectional approach, carried out at RSUD Dr. Soegiri Lamongan. The population was 956 with a sample of 91 respondents using Proportionate random sampling technique. The data collection method uses a questionnaire. The results of the research show that there is a relationship between knowledge and the use of masks (p value = 0.026) and there is a relationship between attitudes and the use of masks after the lifting of Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) at RSUD Dr. Soegiri Lamongan (p value = 0.001). Based on the results of this research, it is hoped that you will always wear a mask even after the lifting of Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) in order to protect yourself and others from contracting or transmitting the virus as well as minimizing the transmission of COVID-19 along with implementing other health protocols.
